I've cruised 23 times prior to this cruise on four different cruise lines. We decided to give Princess a try. I was underwhelmed. The ship was very nice, easy to maneuver around. We had an ocean view cabin, it was spacious and clean. I really liked how an interior wall separated the room from the closet. This was useful when someone was sleeping and your other half needed to get clothing from the closet. Dining.....the food was ok. Nothing special. We tried one specialty restaurant, Steamers. As a huge seafood fan, I expected more. I was not impressed. The absolute best part of the trip was the Entertainment staff. The cruise director Duvaul, his assistant Jerry and the ship's Dj, DJ Kev White. These guys brought so much energy to every activity. They we're very inclusive and you could tell they enjoyed their jobs. Overall the service on the ship was adequate, nothing special. The ports we're what I expected, however, because we we're late to Panama, we we're unable to get off the boat. Major Bummer. Another plus was the embarkation & disembarkation. They we're very smooth. I'd give this vacation an 8 out of 10 based primarily on the itinerary (able to see the Panama Canal at work and the entertainment staff). I do have another Princess cruise booked for June 2020, a 30 day cruise that I'm super excited about. I hope that one exceeds my expectations.

Bathroom was spacious enough, the curtain allowed me to stretch out and use more of the bathroom while showering. I'm 6'1 with long arms...
We enjoyed the horseback ride through the Old City...
Took a bus ride to a private beach. It was ok, could not really enjoy the beach as the water was to rough.
Took a van ride to a private beach. This was ok, water was calm and nice to swim in. This tour also included tapas style food and free drinks.
