Cabin: Spa Balcony

Like the dream class because you can walk around the ship on Deck 5. Had a spa balcony on deck 12 so very quiet room. Thermal suites were never crowded. Because it was only seven days, not that many platinum and diamond members so the previous guest party was not crowded at all. Our wait staff was super nice and the food was typical Carnival. Pizza is still a great option for something quick. Special call out for the service provided by Spasua, dining room hostess. Our area of two tables for breakfast one morning did not have waiters for some reason. After a wait, we asked her for help. She got things moving and checked on us often for the rest of the cruise. Even made table reservations for our next trip on the Breeze in January.

The Park West art team on this ship is led by Alan who was just recently assigned. Him and his team are one of the best we have seen after over 40 cruises. Very easy to work with, passionate and sharp. A nice combination.

Also the singers and dancers on the production cast are super talented. They provided nightly entertainment in the theater every night and were consistently excellent. Don’t miss showtime.

Spa Balcony

Not a big balcony but nice. Great views from the 12th floor and around the corner from the spa. Never crowded when you catch an elevator from near the top of the ship. Small shower.

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Nice quiet place to relax.

St. Thomas

Always one of the best stops. Excellent for local food. Try the Kingfish.

San Juan

Bouncing back from the hurricane. See Kemo at Diamonds International for a good time and great service.

Grand Turk

Another quiet relaxing port.
