We were on the May 8th sailing of the NCL Jewel. Just a little demographic background of our group. We were a group of 6 traveling together, ages 50's, 60's & 70's. We are related and have been cruising together for sometime. We have cruised on RCCL, Princess, Carnival and this being our first trip on NCL. This trip was arranged by my husband's company, so transportation to and from the port from Long Island, NY was provided.

EMBARKATION: We arrived around 11 am. There was a minimal line that kept moving and before we knew it, we had our key cards and were off to pay our corkage fee and have our picture taken. We had number 29 and waited maybe...............10 minutes. Once on board we went directly to Tsar's Dining Room for a leisurely lunch. While finishing our dessert an announcement was made that the staterooms were ready.

STATEROOMS: We had 3 balcony cabins in a row on deck 10, starboard, the very last 3 cabins before the aft suites and balconies. We had the outer balcony doors open for the entire trip and the balcony was huge. The area was very quiet, little foot traffic and just a short elevator hop to the buffet and Great Outdoors! Our steward was Abner. He was great, our room always perfect and clean and such talent with the towel animals ! We did decorate our door with a large flamingo..................but removed them the evening before we left.

Cabin BB

Last cabin starboard side on deck 10. Smaller cabin width wise by 6-10". Odd, but it was noticible. VERY quiet, little "foot traffic". Love the balcony.
