Overall this is a decent cruise experience, we are not fancy people however when we compared some of the things we’ve experienced on other cruises ( Royal & Celebrity) there’s quite a few “luxury” or “extras” we have enjoyed previously especially when it comes to customer service and attention to details that were lacking on this ship and they were missed. If this is your first time cruising then I think you won’t notice as much.

Pros

-easy embarkation and disembarkation ( we carried our luggage on and off with us)

Cabin Review

Fantastica Inside Stateroom

We were told our cabins were ready around 2:30pm

We got there and We’re confused as we saw our room door was wide open. The room cleaner was still cleaning. He asked us to wait 5minutes as he hurried and did a quick vacuum as we watched. Then told us we could enter. We just wanted to drop our stuff off, freshen up and head out. He told us that was fine and he would finish cleaning once we left. Later when we came back to our room before dinner, we noticed he hadn’t cleaned up any more, the bathroom garbage was full with the previous cruisers toiletries, the floor still had not been properly vacuumed and the head board of the bed had some questionable marks smeared on it.

We were disappointed in the overall cleaning even through the week, however it seems that the cleaners are so overloaded that they don’t do an adequate job.

As a heads up this has been the first cruise we were not provided with body lotion or conditioner in the bathroom.

Port Reviews

St. Thomas

We found a local shuttle over to Meaghan bay beach. About 20 mins to get there. Small fee for the ride and a few dollars to get into the beach. Stunning clear water and views. Great bar there with drinks and food and music

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve

Loved this location. It is still under renovations. So a lot of the area is underdeveloped and in construction. Trees and greenery are freshly planted and still small, however the beach is beautiful. Quite rocky in some areas. Lots of complementary food trucks around to snack and everything is in decent walking distance. This is a wonderful full day beach stop.
