Chose this cruise because of price and itinerary. Always bargains over U.S. Thanksgiving week. Interested in Panama Canal partial transit and Cayman stop on a Sunday-to visit relatives there. First the bad stuff.A 10 day cruise without a decent cup of coffee. as coffee dispensers in buffet dining rooms dispensed coffee made from syrup. I wasted $33 on a specialty coffee package in order to get better coffee and espresso drinks-totally disappointing. Lemonade provided on request. In buffet dining you get water...or iced tea. Or get a waiter and wait for lemonade. There was an ice-cream bar, Swirls. The ice cream was bland and watery. The dining room menu was heavy on red meat. It was well prepared and tender but have little desire for red meat every night. I thought most items on the menu were unoriginal and bland. I appreciate that on a cruise ship, the lowest common denominator prevails. Good Stuff. Entertainment was excellent. The Cruise director was a bit different but wildly enthusiastic.Service was excellent, in dining areas, guest services, stewards. One of the best gyms ever with a wide variety of cardio, weight machines, and set ups for yoga and pilates. The two Serbian attendants were knowledgeable and attentive. Excursions were satisfactory. Face it, these are all jobbed out to local tour operators with Princess adding to the cost. It is money wise to book your own tours. Panama Canal was very interesting but, if you have seen one lock, you have seen them all. My highlight was a round of golf in Falmouth JA at White Witch, i arranged on my own.

No surprises...wish there was one.

Cabin Review

Balcony
Cabin BA
Smallish, consistent with ships built in 2003. Curtained shower which left water all over the floor. Much work for cabin steward.
TV was good, reception good.
