From start to finish this was a great week. We booked an S1 Sky Suite and couldnt have been happier. Check in was a breeze and we were on the ship before 11 am and enjoying lunch in the Luminae restaurant soon after. As this was our 29th cruise and our third time on the Equinox we pretty much know what to expect during our time on board. The upgrades to the ship are impressive with more yet to come. The old Micheals Club is now a beautiful bright modern first class bar that pampers suite holders. The Luminae restaurant has upgraded its menu and the food is excellent. Our server Sanjeev was friendly, professional and attentive. The new Retreat area is a quiet oasis that also pampers its guests. The Retreat still needs a hot tub/pool addition and could use more shade and its own bar. Our butler Budi and his assistant Budi(you cant make this up) were wonderful and receptive to our needs. The shows on board were also excellent and the singers and dancers were some of the best we have watched on a ship. The problem with booking a suite is you never want to go back to a normal cabin once you do it.
Great location on deck 10 port side. Has bathtub and large deck.Only issue is large support pole in proximity to bed which makes it hard to get out of bed.
