Decide to go on this cruise at the suggestion of friends who were booking it. The ports of call were very good and the time in each port, except a few, was long enough to see the sights. The cruise staff were friendly and delivered superior service. The food selection was substandard as was the quality. The buffet often duplicated dishes from night to night and even the same night at different stations. The Teppanyaki and Cagney's Steakhouse were the two best, but you have to pay extra as they are "Specialty" restaurants. This ship is due for a refurbishing in early 2020 and I can see why. We booked one of the larger staterooms with a balcony, but there was hardly any storage space for clothes. They also did not seem to have sheets large enough to cover the twin beds pushed together to make one bed, as ours was consistently untucked at both sides and bottom of the bed. The shows we attended were OK and nothing to write home about.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony

Not enough storage space for clothes on an 11 day cruise. Ill fitting sheets on push together twin beds.

Port Reviews

Rome (Civitavecchia)

Dpeparture port. The boarding process was quick and easy and the faciltiy was top notch.

Santorini

Booked a dune buggy type 4 wheeler and toured the island on our own. The owner was very friendly and offered suggestions on where to go. Price was also good

Athens (Piraeus)

Booked the Hop on Hop Off excursion. We wereable to get to the sights we wanted escpecially the Parthenon. Their buses run very timely and it was very affordable.

Rhodes

We took a private tour and our guide was very informative and adjusted the schedule as we asked. She knew her history and had lots of great information.
