Beginning at SF was our reason for taking this cruise. We also wanted to see Hawaii again. Third, we liked the length of the cruise: 15. We three entered the ship expecting all things would be excellent; we had positive attitudes and, sure enough, the vacation was excellent.

We found many things to do given there were 15 days and nights to do them. My son, the artist in the family, spent countless hours drawing wonderful pen and pencil sketches of the staff in our restarurant. Eventually, be began giving them away. Staff was overjoyed and the relationships were enhanced. One lead server said he sent a photo copy to his wife, she liked it, and she planned to frame and display it.

We liked the islands and enjoyed the ship when it did its tight, slow turn on Kuai. My daughter became horribly sick when she rode on a ship tour for snorkeling at Maui. It was to be a 5 hour on water dive and they increased it to 6 while she vomited the whole time. When she returned, she remained sick that night and got up the next morning able to go have breakfast. The tour leader apologized and sent her a bottle of wine. She doesn't drink.
