Chose because of embarkation port in NYC. We live in Brooklyn. Embarkation was delayed, but went fairly quickly. NCL provided water, or juice and snacks. The ship was very clean. Our cabin was fine and had large balcony with 2 loungers, side table and large table with 2 chairs; we loved it. Cabin steward did an acceptable job and was attentive. Negatively, no towel animals. Manhattan Room service ok, food ok. Thanksgiving dinner could have been better. Savor and Taste often had wait lines, service mostly good. The buffet was good but could have had more variety. Section overlooking Observation Lounge was lovely. The local was OK, wait staff good. Liked O'Sheehans better. District Brew House, good staff and drinks. Sporting events televised. Large windows with ocean views, comfy couches and chairs, atmosphere. The Observation Lounge is breathtaking, gorgeous decor, huge windows, sweeping views, supper club look. Snacks and full service bar. Favorite spot! Los Lobos food disappointed except for desserts, ( tres leche cake to die for! ) Had to send back the Carne Asada, substituted enchilada which still was'nt good. Service was outstanding and they really did try to please. Le Bistro service was a letdown but the food was wonderful. Sent back the scallop appetizer which was miniscule and tasteless, got the onion soup which was OK but needed more gruyere. Entrees shone. Fillet Mignon very good. Dinnerware, glassware beautiful. Creme Brulee super and the chocolate Napoleon also. Walked out without any acknowledgement from staff. Cagney's: had Petite Fillet, very good. Up charge for Crab cake, but it was good. 7 layer chocolate cake excellent. Table decor, nice, special wine glasses. Excellent service. Q was so good. Great BBQ; had the brisket, super tender. Signature cocktail the smoked peach margarita was great. Portions good, wait staff fine , and enjoyable country band played through dinner. Jersey Boys was top notch Broadway caliber. Six very good and fun. Sligo and Familiar Strangers were excellent bands. All the entertainment was very good including comedy. Unable to see Beatles show and more comedy shows as they were booked up. Alex did great job at dance parties, bartenders at Malting's and the Mojito bar were excellent as were the drinks. Didn't like the cigar lounge location by the Waterfront, nasty cigar smoke wafting by. Didn't like that the Atrium Bar had shrunk in size, it lost it's vibe. Crew was mostly friendly but there were exceptions. Great Stirrup Day was a blast, beautiful beach. Lounge chairs too close together though. It would be good to have more signage pointing to food and drink options and also more shady areas to sit at. Had tender no 4 and had no problems. Stayed on ship in Nassau and enjoyed the adult pool. Excursion to Kennedy Space Center was overpriced and too short, but we were happy we saw the exhibits and the space shuttle Atlantis. Amazing place! Unruly children running running around ship with oblivious parents, and loud people in the restaurants who never heard of inside voices; and think they are in their living room.v
