In the last three years we have sailed on RCI, NCL and Carnival and decided to try Celebrity. While the others were good, Celebrity was by far the best! And honestly in many ways it was not even close. Start by an embarkation that literally took 2 minutes. Have our tickets on our phone. Do the facial recognition and walk on board. It was that easy. We booked Aqua Class because we wanted to have access to BLU. Both nights we went to dinner there, it was very good. The wait staff was terrific. The food was great and the atmosphere was terrific. Ate breakfast at the Buffet in morning. Never had a hard time finding a table and the Omelet guys were great. Best Croissants I have had outside of France. Best dinner was at the Tuscan Grill. Just decided to give it a shot and it was unbelievable. Our waiter was terrific. Basically he put together how we should approach the menu and it was perfect. Also went to La Petit Chef because it looked fun. Great food, neat concept and our waiter was very good. Had fun eating with a couple we met on the ship. The Solarium was also so nice and relaxing. Hung in the pool for hours just meeting and talking with people. Cabin and balcony were perfect and our Cabin stewart was great. He would see us coming down the hall and made sure he opened the door for us. Kudos to Dan (Cruise Director) and Kellie (Activities coordinator). Met Kellie at the muster drill and had fun chatting with her throughout the cruise. Dan was terrific. Shows are good. McCartney show was especially good. Celebrity spaces the shows and activities perfect so that you can have dinner at 7:00 then do a 9, 10 and 11 activity or show. Minor thing but it shows how celebrity works! The NFL games were on!!!! And they put the Chiefs game (even though I am not a Chiefs fan) on the outside screen. So great to lay on the lawn and watch football on a sea day. (we had to beg and plead with Norwegian to put the NCAA basketball tournament on) Equinox is so well laid out. And the ship is spotless. Public bathrooms look like country club bathrooms. Even with 2900 people on board, there are so many nooks and crannies to find a place to relax, have a drink or read a book. Bartenders were also great. Never had problem getting a drink. Kudos to the bartender at Craft Social who I talked to a bunch and tried different beers. What makes Celebrity and this cruise on the Equinox is they handle every detail with precision. That is what impressed me so much. My wife and I are in our mid 50s and met so many great people around our age on board. It is not a party boat. Just a great cruise where Celebrity just hits the mark on service at every turn!

Great Cruise. Celebrity hits the mark on so many levels.
