After having sailed on several other Celebrity ships I can say that Silhouette is now our favorite. From beginning to end, our vacation was flawless. The ship is in great shape and very, very clean. Crew are friendly and attentive. Food was enjoyable, (with the exception of the Porch, which we found slow and uncomfortable) and service was superior to any previous experience with Celebrity. We stayed in a Royal Suite to celebrate a milestone anniversary. Our butler and cabin steward were excellent making sure to meet all of our needs from ice to extra body lotion and anything in between. Michael's Club was a quite getaway when we needed a quick drink or water from the "help yourself" wall of selections. Our stateroom was very comfortable and included two loungers on the balcony. Our bar was set up with exactly what we requested and replenished often. Everywhere we went, people seemed to know our names! Indeed, we felt extremely welcome at all times. When drink service in Sushi on 5 took a little longer than expected one day during lunch, we received a personal apology from the food and beverage manager...even though we hadn't complained. Entertainment was fabulous and varied from song and dance shows to magicians to comedy. There were also lots of scheduled activities in various venues and times making planning for the day super easy. We even attended a lecture on the history of piracy in the Caribbean...quite interesting. Our favorite specialty dining venues were Murano and Lawn Club Grill as we ate in both restaurants twice! Luminae was better for us at lunch than dinner but we always found something to enjoy. Sea days were spent relaxing in the solarium or in the spa. We enjoyed Persian Gardens but noted that Silhouette's PG seems to offer less than some of the other S class ships we've sailed. This was perhaps the only area that was a slight disappointment as the stone loungers didn't seem to be all that warm and the aroma therapy room not all that fragrant. Disembarkation was extremely smooth considering that there was a port change from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami. As such, a complimentary private car was provided for us to get to the Miami airport. This was very much appreciated and a great example of the highest level of service that we received throughout the entire trip. We used the included wifi every day and found the signal to be excellent...even while at sea. Thank you, Celebrity. We feel we got our money's worth and look forward to returning to the Silhouette in the future.

Cabin Review

Royal Suite
Cabin RS
Cabin was clean and comfortable. Service from room steward and butler were excellent. Although the room location is just off the main hallway near the elevators, we never heard any noise at all. Two loungers on the balcony was a nice tough. We used the jetted tub on the balcony on the last sea day. It filled quickly and the water was a great temperature. Our bar set up was exactly as we had requested. However, the drink fridge didn't keep things very cold at all...my only negative observation. Having an extra powder room was very nice and two large closets with plenty of drawer space was also very nice.
