Departure city: Tampa

We did not explore Tampa at all. The embarkation experience was the worst we have ever experienced. We stood in line for almost 4 hours, and by standing in line I mean that at times we were standing in the street with traffic and trolleys inches away from us. NCL never made any attempt to explain what was going on, or even have basic safety in place. The police eventually showed up. Nobody knows what happened, the staff inside the terminal were all telling different stories, so we were being actively lied to. Rumors included human trafficking, software failures, late arrival, etc. We will probably never consider another Tampa itinerary based on this.

Harvest Caye

Not a bad cruise-ship owned island. Plenty to do, reasonable prices on food and drinks.

Tampa

Worst embarkation experience ever. Staff were spreading rumors about why we had epic delays in boarding. Unsafe conditions. First time ever I've seen police have to get involved for public safety at an embarkation
