We chose this cruise for the amazing itinerary that included Israel with Italy and Greece. We had taken a river cruise with Viking and wanted to try an ocean cruise with them. The ship was beautiful! Very clean. So many spaces to sit, relax and take in the views. My mom really enjoyed working the jigsaw puzzle with fellow passengers and I enjoyed the infinity pool. The cabin was very comfortable. The weather was so good that we were able to use the veranda quite a bit. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom. The food, especially Manfredi’s and The Restaurant, was excellent. It was slightly better on the river cruise but they don’t have to cook for as many people. It was still better than other cruises I’ve taken. The staff is second to none. Tedde, our cabin steward took wonderful care of us. Everyone was pleasant and attentive. The entertainment was fun, I especially enjoyed the magician and the dancing lesson. What I didn’t realize was that there were going to be such incredible history lectures about the places we were visiting. The lecturers were interesting and it added something very special to the experience and greatly increased my understanding of what I would see. I had a massage which was excellent. The shore excursions were very organized and the guides were knowledgeable and experienced. I learned a lot and overall, enjoyed them immensely. Some of the days were long and there was so much to see that you couldn’t spend as much time as you might like in each spot. Also, if shopping is important to you, there is very little time allotted for it in the tours. You may want to take a shorter tour or make your own arrangements to accommodate shopping. We also did a post tour in Athens that was definitely a continuation of a wonderful experience. Overall, an incredibly beautiful, enjoyable, and extremely well planned and executed cruise.

Cabin Review

Beautiful room with comfy bed and pillows, heated bathroom floor, and every need supplied. Free room service and minibar with your favorite items stocked. We used the veranda a lot and were right next to our family members so they unlocked the connecting door for us. It was wonderful to have coffee or wine out there and just watch the ocean.
