We have cruised on Princess many times and were always pleased with our experience. Decided it would be nice to travel with friends for Thanksgiving holiday. We had a wonderful time for the seven days but mainly because of the company we were with. Embarking was a delight with the new Medallion service. Our room was ready for us when we boarded and then we opened the door to find the smallest veranda cabin we have ever sailed with. I recommend you go with veranda deluxe if you want somewhere to sit in the room other than on your bed. Our room was clean and our attendant was wonderful. The food left much to be desired. Same menu with a few exceptions every night. Food was mediocre at best. We had our only memorable meal at the Crown Grill. So be prepared to pay a surcharge for a decent meal. The evening entertainment was very good but the daytime, daily activities were lame. The activities staff though pleasant did not have the experience or charisma to keep the games interesting. The real nightmare of our trip was saved for disembarking. Somehow they thought it would be a good idea to have us park our car and leave from terminal 2 but come back and disembark at terminal 21. We then could carry our luggage and line up for a shuttle to take us back to terminal 2. They told us we could disembark from level 5 at 6:45 for those of us who wanted an early start. After taking our luggage down to level 5 they decide level 7 would be better so we dragged our luggage to 7 to join the few hundred people standing in line until 7:15 when they finally decided we could disembark. Left my room at 6:30 and left the parking lot at 8:15
