Our original intention was to take a river cruise but rooms sold out for the dates we could schedule, so we opted for the ocean cruise. The ports were good as well as the length of the cruise (12 days). Smaller ship but very quaint and easy to get around. Restaurants were perfect for food selections and never waited for tables. Entertainment we witnessed was unexpected. It was grand and beyond our expectations. More to do then we could squeeze in. Staff was personable and extremely polite. Excellent pool and steam area. Fitness machines were so updates I could not figure some of them out. A few time when I went to the gym there were no lockers. Small area for amount of people on board. Appreciated the elegance of the ship without the youth running around you. We added 1 day in Venice and 2 days in Barcelona on our own. The cruise add on's were priced way out of line! We booked luxury hotels for less that half. Only drawback is you handle your our luggage. Boarding and debarkation was as smooth as we ever experienced. We wanted to see it all so port excursions became tiring. So many to choose from. New and very clean buses. Good excursion hosts. Drop off/pick up point in France was seedy and dirty with no shopping. Monaco was beautiful and clean. Needed more time there to enjoy the museum, casinos and shops. Overall our trip was beautiful and memorable! Thank you!
We opted for a larger cabin seeing that would be our home for 12 days. Very spacious and comfortable. Bathroom and shower were large. We were just steps away from the stairwell and elevators. We really enjoyed our cabin. Laundry just down the hall (free to use) but a little hard to understand how to use.
Pouring rain, did not get into the churchView All 47 St. Mark's Square Reviews
Tough walking to get there at night. My wife tripped and fell on the glass bridge. That put a damper on the remainder of the night and cruise. Opera was the best!View All undefined undefined Reviews
Scenic, great history, beautiful, clean and well organized. I highly recommend this trip. Touched the hand of the black Madonna. We'll see what happens...View All 118 Montserrat Walking Tour Reviews
Sunday morning everything was closed except the churches. Walked the streets and took great photos of alleyways, doors, door knockers, boats, castle, etc. Heard some singers gathered in the echo chambers of the church entrance ways. Beautiful!View All 29 Trogir Walking Tour Reviews
1 hr. bus tour to watch a guy in a small room using a lathe (without goggles and people standing in front of him -dangerous- and 20 feet next door turning clay was a waste. Poor description of this tour.View All undefined undefined Reviews
Interesting history and plenty of details. Walked the fort grounds, in some shops and many photos. Really pretty!View All 77 Walking Tour Reviews
So much to see here. Need days to see this site. Artifacts bubbling out of this historic city as seen on TV back in the states. History in the making!View All 505 Pompeii Walking Tour Reviews
Sorrento was beautiful. Wish we had more time to enjoy the coffee/tea shops and explore more of the city. Excellent photos of hairpin road and hotel garden.View All 165 Sorrento Reviews
We were here before so we could pick out places to explore we hadn't seen before and just take in the shops and eateries. Did revisit St. Peters Basilica since it is the most beautiful church ever built! Breath taking!View All 171 Rome on Your Own Reviews
We were looking for leather goods and found just exactly what we wanted. Even got this tailored while we toured the "Holy Cross" church. We walked the city and went back to a favorite restaurant to enjoy a bottle of wine and a pizza! The best!!!View All undefined undefined Reviews
Pristine and beautiful! Saw the Prince of Monaco drive by (Lic# MC 01) and learned of the Gran Prix race. Visited the the "finest" hotel next to the Monte Carlo Casino, dripping with elegance, and went to the casino to say I played. Very small and not many tables open. Saw some yachts and just shook my head. Needed more time here.View All 55 Monte Carlo Walking Tour Reviews
Beautiful seaside resort. Charming streets, shops and eateries. Freshly caught fish sold at the docks and picturesque fishing boats galore. Took the "chilly" boat ride to see rocks, cliffs, and a very small beach rated #1 in the world. Probably because it is very hard to get to.View All 37 Cassis Walking Tour Reviews
This was a duplicate of the Cassis tour since the identical route was taken to get there. Drop off point was a waste of time. Not much open, dirty & smelly, and most of us gathered 30 minutes prior to boarding. There was a great shopping area just a few miles down the road where we could have gone and enjoyed much more.View All 65 City Tour Reviews
