This was a great introduction to cruising for my kids. The number one reason we chose this cruise was the amazing price and the dates worked will with my vacation time. This is a small basic ship but you get what you pay for...
There was plenty to do on the ship and my girls (6 and 8) loved the pool. The ports were nice but nothing special. We got off in Nassau and walk to the beach. We sat next to a person sleeping on the beach and a garbage dumpster. The water had too much of an undertow to do more then get your feet wet. We were back to the ship for lunch and spent the afternoon playing in the pool
Freetown, there was nothing to do close to the ship. We decided to take a taxi to a local beach and got swindled by the taxi company. The man filling the taxi vans said it was $14 each and that would get us there and back and we wouldn’t have to pay any more. Well we got to the beach and we still had to pay $5.75 per person to access the beach. The water was freezing cold and lots of vendors constantly walking up and down the beach trying to sell tshirts or braid the girls hair. After 2 hours we headed back to the ship for lunch and play in the pool.
The room was just big enough for the four of us. The room was quiet and clean. The room attendant did a great job.
We walked to a local beach. Nothing special
Nice town to talk around.
