We chose this cruise based on the itinerary, the size of the ship, and the recommendations of friends. We were not disappointed and found that every element exceeded our expectations and left other cruise lines in the dust. The service was superior, the food in all venues was excellent, and the design and décor of the ship itself were exceptional. Our stateroom was immaculate, well-appointed, and spacious, with more than ample storage room for our belongings and luggage. Even the process of embarking and disembarking was handled with a great sense of organization that made those activities as stress-free as possible. Every single staff member was committed to the highest level of cordiality and service, from the cleaning staff to the servers in the restaurants to the officers. They made you feel like their only mission was to provide satisfaction for every passenger. It was like heaven on earth. I know we will book more cruises on Viking as a result.
