The ship is beautiful! The dining room food and dining staff need real help, service and food were terrible. We have been on 25+ cruises and this was the worst experience ever. The food and service in the specialty restaurants were top notch but who want to have to pay for food every day! Our cabin had a tub in it which we didn't know would. This might have been great for some people but for us it was a nightmare as husband has very bad legs and was difficult for him to use. They finally were able to move us to another balcony room. There is no storage in the rooms, maybe two small drawers and the closet is very hard to use. Too close to bed and can only use one side easily.

We have cruised to Caribbean so many times we really don't care if we get off the ship. In this itinerary the ports were worse than usual. One port Isla de Roatan wasn't even built yet still under construction. Th high light of the trip was to go to the new Ocean Cay, MSC's private island. Which we never got to go to since MSC cancelled this stop. They did give us a credit for not going to their private island.

Will we go again on this ship? Not sure, will have to improve significantly. We love the MSC Divina and will return to that ship!

Port Reviews

Belize City

We went to the old port, not the new port. There is nothing to do but walk around or stop at a bar for a drink. Back on the ship in an hour. Not safe area to leave port area. MSC needs to go to the new port.
