This cruise was a nightmare. Insufficient air conditioning in the room and on the excursion buses. They were not equipped to deal with the heat factor. I realize the weather is unpredictable; however, Viking should have been able to keep their passengers comfortable on the ship, as well as on the buses. There was virtually no entertainment. The balcony was unable to be used due to docking right next to another river boat or next to a wall. It was a very expensive trip and nothing about it was acceptable. The Viking advertisements are very distorted and it was nothing like we expected. We are retirees and live on a fixed income. We thought this costly trip was going to be a trip if a lifetime. It was anything but. Very disappointed in this holiday and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. If you are considering a Viking cruise, think twice.
