Firstly a bit of information on us. We are both on our 30's and have cruised before on both Royal Caribbean and Ocean Village ships.

We booked this cruise at short notice after our booked Royal Caribbean cruise was cancelled due to the Volcano Ash cloud. When we spoke to our Travel Agent they came up with a cruise on the Oceana from Southampton. While we don't have children we figured that as there were facilities for kids on the ship that they would also have them for their parents i.e. people our age. How wrong we were.

Check In: Check in was very well organised. Free magazines were available while we waited to check in. We were checked in and onboard in less than 10 mins. No hassle or big queues.
