Cabin: Edge Veranda Stateroom

The Edge is a beautiful ship with innovative decorations and design features. The infinity veranda was wonderful for us, but I can see why many long time cruisers complain. It has to be treated as an oceanview room with a full window, with the advantage of converting it into a balcony as needed. The extra space comes in handy. The bathroom design is outstanding and the extra room and storage is an improvement over the Solstice class, which was very good to begin with.

The Eden is a beautiful area of the ship. It replaces, to some extent, the absence of the sky lounge on this ship. The elimination of the sky lounge is a big disappointment after being available on the Millenium and Solstice class(except the Reflection, which has a smaller version) ships. The one element of the Eden that is not working for us is the specialty restaurant. It is overpriced and the menu is too eccentric.

The four restaurant concept is a brilliant idea. The Tuscan is the most impressive, but all of them are beautifully decorated and the food is excellent.

Cabin Review

Edge Veranda Stateroom

An upgrade over Solstice class, especially the bathroom. Infinite veranda worked well for us.
