Diamond Plus with Royal - positive in the past. The food was inconsistent, the ship is tired and should be refurbished in 2020 instead of 2021. The entertainment was hit and miss. Company cannot accomodate all the Crown & Anchor guests - they designed the progam they should be able to handle the results. We had just gotten off the Norwegian Joy 3 days prior and it was fantastic. The ship is beautiful and the food choices and quality was great. Royal is dumbing down and we are not going to schedule any more cruises beyond what we already have on the books with Royal. If things have not improved by the end of our last 2020 Royal cruise we will look to another cruise line. The Hotel Director ignored our concerns - she did not address us directly but sent Kenneth. The Food and Beverage Manager, Kenneth, was great but he cannot design the menu and prepare the food himself. We were not important enough to warrant a personal nod from her. The Diamond Lounge cannot handle the Crown & Anchor people - too many people and they would not move expand to the Star Lounge - private events were more $$$$ important. Overall, we were on the ship for 2 weeks and do not plan on returning. We had a wonderful cabin steward, MJ, the Diamond Lounge concierge was great, Agnelo, bartender was wonderful. On the Norwegian you did not pass a crew member or officer without receiving a smile or hello - the crew on the Liberty ignored you.
