The vessel was well maintained and clean, but the architecture was drab and in my opinion, dated. The main hallways were dark and drab with low ceilings and nominal lighting. A rather low end facade all in all. Nothing remarkable, but floated well enough. We had an accessible balcony room on the 11th deck. Large and comfortable, as well as loud from the door slamming symphony most nights till around 2 am. (lots of bars=lots of drunks, and obviously bartenders trained to sell above all else). The toilette stopped working but was quickly addressed. There was no sofa in the room, although there was more than enough room. Everyone talks about the food on board, so here goes, I think we had three hot meals all week. Two were in the specialty restaurants, which are overpriced and only serve a child sized portion. The Garden cafe is a train wreck. Nothing hot unless your're lucky enough to get a omelette(Or consider coffee food). They ran out of some things, the ice makers quit, no spoons, one cook on specialty night serving a thousand or two guests. Ludicrous! The hot dogs were okay ,but cold as were all the vegetables(No Kidding) and the bread was stale. The Maderno restaurant served an appetizer of six scallops the size of small marbles, and a flounder main that was similar to a fast food meal. Poor. However, the service was stylishly slow adding to the ambiance. Enough about this since we were headed to a place where people live in poverty, and that made poor food acceptable. Entertainment is not our thing so I have no objectivity, although I can comment on the decibel levels, which drove us away from the venues. It was LOUD! Like space shuttle loud! Burn the floor, ect. All deafeningly loud. The young lady that tended our room was as sweet and professional as can be. Donna, The Best! Ports, loved them, excursions a mixed bag. Roatan highway robbery, no other way to put it, just a ripoff. The people were pleasant but poor. Not in anyway unsafe, just not a pleasant excursion. The guide takes you to a beach stand for lunch with $18 hamburgers!! Belize 100%, Costa Maya, Cozumel %100, Already planning a return trip. Safe, wonderful people, nothing negative. This was just the wife and I, and we both agree, we scratched Norwegian off our list. And to just to add insult to injury, they have perfected the art of nickel and dime death. We've booked our European cruise with RCL, the foods hot. LOL Oh Yeah, almost forgot, we booked a meeting room 8 months prior and not only did they not include the meeting in the Sail Away daily program, they gave us a room under the bowling alley! Nice EH?

Complete waste of time and money.
