I write this on the very day I returned from the 11/16 Caribbean sailing while all is still fresh in my mind. Save for a relatively low price for deck 12v balcony cabin with the upgraded Fantastica Experience there is little positive to write about this cruise. The nightly production numbers in the Metropolitan Theatre is the single noteworthy exception.
The food, both in the morning/afternoon buffet and the evening dining room was well below par. We ate in three specialty restaurants, which were for the most part empty. Definitely not worth the price and only slightly better than the main dining room. The service throughout our cruise was equally below what we had expected from our 35+_ previous cruises. We are not newbies to the sea. Our cabin attendant, Jesse, was the sole bright spot.
Certain foods at the breakfast buffet, e.g. smoked salmon, were not served every day. Same for English muffins, which were absent on the cruise's final day even by request.
Cabin was small with a sofa, the end of which made it virtually impossible to access one side of the closet. Average number of shelves. The bathroom was quite small, as well. The shower was beyond small even for a normal size person. Any person other than one of normal size would have great difficulty even entering the shower let alone turning or bending to reach one's feet.
