Always wanted to take a River Cruise. The Viking staff was AMAZING and so helpful. The shore excursions were informative and well planned. Never felt rushed. The food and drink were truly an experience. Can't wait for my next Viking Cruise. The staff was very attentive and great with remembering names and preferences. The scenery was beyond awesome. The relaxed atmosphere was a breath of fresh air from the huge ships that cram people on board like sardines. The casual aspect was a welcome change. No formal dining night which was a relief. No assigned seating at meals so you got to mix and mingle with the other guests which was very nice. The crew's interaction with the passengers was also very welcome. The amount of amenities included in the price was also great. Free wi-fi, beer and wine with lunch and dinner and the self serve coffee/tea kiosk was also a definite perk.
