We chose the cruise as we stayed in New York for a few days and were drawn to the itinerary and wanted sail out of New York. The cruise port (once you get there) was good, embarkation was easy and quick, disembarkation was good apart from RC managed to drop and split one of our suitcases, not sure how but they did. The layout of the ship wasn't as good as some we've been on, we missed the Royal Promenade, didn't like the lack of a single main dining room and the Music Hall drowned out the singer in the Schooner Bar, although it didn't feel as crowded as some RC ships. There were plenty of activities and the main show (We Will Rock You) was fabulous. We all enjoyed the North Star, the Skydiving Simulator and the Two70 venue. Service was excellent throughout the ship, everyone was happy to help. Balcony Cabin has loads of storage space as was comfy, always kept clean and tidy by our very understanding Steward (who spent many mornings waiting for our teenager to wake up). We ate in some of the specialty restaurants, Chops Grille was excellent as was Jammie's Italian. We only took a couple of trips we used local services at some of the ports this worked well. Horseshoe Bay in Bermuda was stunning there's a local minibus service running from the port that's less the 50%of the RC cost
