This was our second cruise on the Miracle. The last one was in 2015. We have been on 13 cruises. 5 cruises with Carnival. Poor maintenance shows all over this rusty old tub.

CABIN: We had the beds arranged as two singles and the linens did not match. Some of the pillowcases and sheets were old yellowed and stained. The vanity countertop trim varnish was peeling, chipped, and missing in many areas. There was a large buildup of dust on the threshold of the connecting door which obviously had not been cleaned for weeks. It finally got cleaned the last day of our 13-day cruise. The drawers under the couch were broken and misaligned which prevented them from closing. In the bathroom one new white towel hangs next to another yellowed thread bare towel. Some days the new towels were damp like they had not been dried completely. The sink was chipped and surface missing around the discolored drain ring. The collar around the sink faucet that indicates which handle direction is hot and cold was missing and exposing a build-up of sludge on the moving parts underneath. The toilet had a permanent discoloration ring of the plastic bowl. The shower water temperature would randomly go cold without touching any controls.

The Veranda had extensive rust on the metal pieces and the rail had been varnished many times and they just let the varnish drip and run down the railing window where it then dried so that when you were seated on the veranda chairs it obscured the view outward. It appeared they just gave buckets of varnish to unskilled workers without any concern for doing a quality job.

Cabin Review

Balcony

This cabin interior was beattered and worn. Some sheets and towels were white and new others were yellowed and thread bare. Sometimes new towels were damp. Drawers broken undero couch. Poor cleaning with dust buildup in certain areas. Desk/Vanitey edge gouged and chipped. Balcony had extensive rust all over. Balcony rail window had dried dripped globs of varnish running down all over which blocked your view. Sink and toilet permanently stained and need to be replaced.

Port Reviews

Puerto Quetzal (Antigua)

90 minute air conditioned bus ride was comfortable with interesting sites all the way. Included a guided tour of Jade Museum. Antigua has beatiful charm with gorgeous churches and buikdings. Vendors here were a bit annoying though. Lots of little coffee and souvenir shops and town square was picturesque.

Cabo San Lucas

Weve been here many times so just went in for shopping.
