Sail Date: Nov 2019

We chose this cruise because it was scheduled to go to Mykonos and Santorini and had no at sea days. This " Greek Isle" cruise did not go to either of these islands due to mechanical problems with ship - which we were notified of only hours before sailing. We weren't offered a refund/cancellation options, only given an onboard credit of $200 - so NCL could get more money. Talk about adding insult to injury! Instead of stopping at 6 ports, we only stopped at 4 - only 3 of which were on original itinerary. Our trip of a lifetime was definitely ruined by NCL.

We had also booked and paid for an Oceanview stateroom and discovered that we actually had a cabin with two small oblong windows that were totally blocked by a large lifeboat. There was not even a partial view - no ocean to be seen! We tried to make the best of the situation which we had no control over, but NCL really dropped the ball! At least the food was good, although there were not as many options for non-meat eaters. Entertainment was okay, although the Asian group attempting to sing classic American songs was a big fail, and they performed quite often all around ship. Majority of ship staff were excellent and we enjoyed talking with them. They made our ship time quite pleasant. Activities on board were also plentiful and varied to appeal to all ages.
