We arrived late in Amsterdam & nobody was there to meet us I contacted Viking and was told to take a taxi & they would reimburse me. I did and Viking made good on their word. Our room was very nice and the staff was delightful, the food was excellent. We had a bad odor in our bathroom that had to be tended to twice and still never went away. I have occupational asthma & the smell triggered an asthma attack. I spoke with the agent that booked our cruise after we returned & he said someone fro Viking would contact me but as of 11/19/2019 no one has. The cruise director noticed that I was having a hard time breathing and ask about my asthma, I told him that I did not have enough medication to last the rest of the trip. He went out of his way to help me obtain more medication (this is above & beyond my expectations. We met a lot of lovely people on the ship, making it a pleasure to travel. The staff always remembers our name and the time of wine we drink.
