We had talked with friends and casual aquaintances about a river cruise and were recommended to take this one. We decided that Viking provided what we were looking for. We enjoyed the overall experience on the ship with the exception that my credit card was compromised and I believe it happened onboard. The ship was excellent in terms of cleanliness, cabin appurtenances, room size, wifi, etc. Dining was great with a wonderful menu that kept changing for each area and town we were approaching. Service was great! We found our ports and shore excursions to be excellent giving us some free time in most locations to check out things for ourselves. The ship tour director, Anthony, was outstanding and a wealth of information.

The crew, especially the dining room crew and room cleaning crew, were great. Always pleasant and accommodating

We have seen recent news noting the long hours of work each crew member on cruise ships work and are rethinking our future holiday plans in light of this.
