We chose the specific cruise for Santorini and Mykonos. These ports were cancelled due to ship mechanical failure. We also didn't get to stop in Bar, Montenegro - - not sure why. I understand mechanical difficulties. But I don't understand corporate greed who did not refund any of the cruise payments. We got $200 per cabin, on board credit. . . what an insult. Everything is already marked up 200% to begin with. Food was ok. Entertainment was nothing to rave about. Only one production show - and it got cancelled due to boat movement. Every one of the musicians on the boat were Asian-speaking people . . and they were trying to sing English songs - very poorly. Most of the songs were from 20 years ago.

The ship was decent looking, but nothing special. We've been on most of the other cruise line ships and this one had nothing unique or special. I will say I was pleased that the Internet Cafe was finally out of the closet and open/accessible to people.

This cruise was a once in a lifetime experience and NCL blew it. Corporate NCL took the low road and put profits over people. They will be reimbursed by insurance to cover lost revenue for the mechanical failures - - - no loss to them. It's the customers who lost the most.
