Sail Date: Nov 2019

The ship (Norwegian Star) didn’t make it to 3 of the 6 scheduled destinations, 2 of which were the highlights of the trip, Santorini and Mykonos. They added 2 new ports but we only made it to 1. It was disappointment after disappointment. This also happened to the cruise right before us but Norwegian decided to sail with the Star again anyways, even though they knew the ship had major mechanical issues. We were given minimal compensation for the missed ports. To address our issues, we were given a phone number that does not connect to a person. Instead, everything must be addressed via email. On top of all of this, the cruise staff was rude and unhelpful while on the cruise. The evening shows were great. We liked our balcony suite room. It came in handy with all the additional time at sea we weren’t supposed to have on this trip. The dining experience was disorganized and chaotic. Even with a reservation and paying extra for specialty dining, things always seemed to go wrong with either the staff or the reservation. The most disappointing vacation we’ve been on. We will never sail Norwegian Cruise Line again.
