Sail Date: Oct 2019
Cabin: Oceanview

We choose this cruise as we had never been to Darwin, Broome and Geraldton so was a good chance to visit these places.

We were a late booking and not allocated our cabin until a few days before sailing. However, before that we were offered a "Moveover" deal of a free cruise if we took an inside cabin instead of the oceanview we had booked. I had never heard of this before but apparently it was offered to lots of passengers some taking advantage of a free cruise, plus another cruise etc.

On to what we thought about the Sun Princess and we enjoyed our cruise overall.

Cabin Review

Oceanview

Adequate size, no sofa just a stool. Bathroom very small really only large enough for one person at a time. Good storage - hanging space and drawers. Bed comfortable.

Port Reviews

Darwin

Took the hop on hop off bus. Very good but it was hot and humid in October.

Broome

Ship had a bus to take you into Broome. We took the hop on hop off bus around Broome which is a good way to get around. Cable Beach worth visiting. Very hot and humid in October.

Brisbane

Brisbane a great city. A short walk to catch the ferry that took you into the CBD. Lots of do - Southbank, galleries and a great walkway along the Brisbane River.
