Cabin: Balcony Stateroom

Our first cruise and just wanted to try it out at a slower pace. We totally enjoyed the time at sea as there were plenty of activities to do. We didn't get the specialty dining package and glad that we didn't because there was no need as we had great meals almost every day.

Our cabin was roomy with balcony, good size for a couple. Althought we did miss not having a retractale clothesline in the shower.

Each night, after attending the evening entertainment, we were excited to going back to our cabin and to plan out activities for next day, including which restaurants to go for breakfast, lunch and dinner. After a few days, the hostess had remembered us by names.

Balcony Stateroom

We had the balcony stateroom at the port side and it was roomy for a couple. The housekeeping did a great job in maintaining the room clean and tidy.

Port Reviews

Portuguese Island

We rented a car with another couple we met from the cruise and drove around the island and had a thermal bath. It was an interesting trip and it felt great to be on land again.

St. George's

We walked around the extremely tourist town a bit and took a short boat ride. The day was windy and not too many interesting places to visit. We have no plan to come back in the future.

Also, we did not enjoyi walking thru the casino area as smoking was permitted and the ventilation system was not great.
