I chose this cruise line based on a friend's recommendation. I've never been on a cruise before so I followed her advice. What an incredible experience! I traveled with a friend and no children. This is a fantastic cruise line. Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly at every port. Tables were set up with cold water and towels at our return from the islands, which was very thoughtful, as well as music and entertainment. The ship in itself is marvelous, the decor and the way it is organized and set up is fantastic. Multiple bars and entertainment on each floor. We had a balcony cabin which we found was vey spacious for the two of us. It had a magnificent view and we could see the most beautiful sunsets. Our steward was very diligent and kept the room spotless all the time. The food at the Marketplace was delicious as well as our restaurant. A variety of delicious food at the buffet, we could always find something to eat. At the Seashore restaurant, the choice of menus was delicious. Every night they had a different cuisine, french, italian, etc and american dishes in case you did not want the chef's choice. The service was superb. The waiters, stewards, bartenders, photographers, etc. What a magnificent group of people! Attentive, nice, helpful, well informed, always doing their best to make you feel good. The entertainment department of this ship is marvelous. Every one of them was great! The shows are mind blowing. The crew is very talented and definitely keep you entertained. We did a couple of shore excursions and we had a great time. One thing that I did not like was the fact that we had to wait for the catamaran to take us to St john for 20 minutes in the heat. It was hard for the children and the eldest. They should have been more organized like the one at St Maarten 360. That one was well organized, went very smoothly. I attended the Cruise Critic meet and greet. It was very well organized. We met the captain and officers of the ship. Every one was very nice and attentive. We had a fantastic time on the Seaside. I will definitely recommended MSC and it is my cruise line of choice from now on.
