We were on the Inaugural cruise of the Regal and we assumed that this inaugural cruise would be equally well done. WRONG! During the Regal inaugural cruise every Princess Entertainer of the Year was on board. The music and performances were beyond wonderful. However, on the Sky there was no special effort to bring on board the best of the best. Sometimes it was impossible to find music anywhere.

The entertainment was not as good as it usually is...second tier entertainers...there were two bands on board..they were okay but not the level we usually find on Princess. This was our 23rd Princess cruise. There was only one production show....no Crooners Bar, no Wheelhouse Bar (the only place to dance was the Piazza, which has a tile floor)...poor service in the buffet... the crew was friendly but did not seem to know what was expected of them..dirty tables and long waits for coffee at the buffet.

At the International Cafe the usual wait for a cappuccino was 15 minutes. The elevators did not work properly and one was broken for an entire week. The signal lights for the elevators did not work properly, either. Read more
