First time on Princess and absolutely the last. First thing was the water in our shower was almost unbearably hot and it took 7 days to get a plumber who turned it down a little but it was still not comfortable. Could never get him back to adjust it more. Final straw was we had purchased a DVD of the cruise including the canal transit. When we got home to watch it there was nothing on it about the Panama Canal. We were so disappointed. Our travel agent contacted Princess to try to get another one but was told they can’t sell merchandise from cruises that are over. Although the ship was selling T-shirts from Alaska cruises so I guess over is not necessarily over. We only ate in the MDR 3 times as the food was mostly tasteless but that was ok because the buffet and the specialty restaurants more than made up for it. All the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient and we enjoyed meeting them. We took a behind the scenes tour of the ship which we thoroughly enjoyed. Overall there were many enjoyable times but the problem with the DVD has ruined Princess for us.
