We chose this cruise to take my 85 yr. old father-in-law to Key West, someplace he has always wanted to visit. Key West was great. Our time on board the ship not so much.
The main dining room dinner food was underwhelming. The dinner service likewise. Ate in the steakhouse and it was decent. Still something to be desired from the waiter. The French restaurant was the best meal and dinner service on this ship.
We also lost use of our room for a few hours while some crew members power washed our balcony and the one next to us. This was to remove the ash that was deposited from the onboard incinerator.
We chose this room specifically to get a bathtub and not have one of the standard phone booth showers. Unfortunately the shower and sink backed up when first used. Reported this to guest services immediately. Every day of the cruise there were unsuccessful attempts by maintenance to remedy this problem. Each attempt made it worse, finally resulting in the bathroom floor drain overflowing into the bathroom, cabin, and public walkway. Between this issue and the power washing of the balcony (about 2 hours), we did not get to use this cabin much. Eventually moved to balcony stateroom.
Was there during Fantasy Fest. Google it.
