Embarkation was great. We arrived at Cape Canaveral around 10:30 a.m. and we were able to board before noon. The Carnival Breeze is a beautiful ship. Since our cruise was in October the ship was decorated for Halloween and had several activities on board that were Halloween related. Our dining experience was not what we have experienced in the past on Carnival. We had early dining in the Sapphire dining room. The service was fair. We were not offered refills on our ice tea, we had to ask. Waiter's were friendly but seemed stressed and in a hurry to clear dishes off the table. We felt like we were being rushed to finish our food. Food was always luke warm when served. Nothing was hot. Same with the buffet on the Lido deck with the exception of Guys Burgers they were hot and delicious. The entertainment was fair. We only enjoyed 1 of the shows. One night we ended up leaving before the show was over....along with several other passengers. We ordered coffee through room service a few mornings. Service was quick and servers were very nice. We only went on 1 excursion which was in St. Thomas, the sky lift. Beautiful view at the top. We had been to all of the ports in the past and we just enjoyed walking around to different shops and restaurants. Our room steward was great.Very nice. I doubt that we will sail on the Breeze in the future due to the food not being up to our expectations.Disembarkation was well organized and quick.

Cabin Review

Cove Balcony

The cabin was very nice. This was our first time cruising in a cove balcony. Loved the view. So much closer to the water. We were able to see flying fish and enjoyed the sound of the ocean. We booked a cabin that was under the galley. We thought this would be a quiet place at night for sleeping. We were wrong. Every night between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m.we were awakened by very loud noises which sounded like furniture being moved and buckets being dropped. The noises would last from 1 to 2 hours each night. We were cruising with family that had cabins on either side of our cabin and complained about the same noises. If you are a light sleeper stay away from the cabins under the galley.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

The cruise port is very nice and embarkation was incredible. One of the easiest we have ever encountered.
