Firstly, the level of service was excellent. Our steward, Alief took good care of us. Everyone on board was extremely helpful and cheerful, but was never overly so. They did not hover, were not obsequious, yet were always there when something was needed. Our cabin suited our needs perfectly. The bedding was comfortable and the small deck outside was adequate. Food quality, quantity and range of choices was excellent. Compliments to the chef! The ship itself is just the right size. Any larger and it would have been overwhelming as were some of the ships tied up near ours. The guides on our shore excursions were uniformly knowledgeable, informative and entertaining. My only complaint was that our stays in port were too short. Perhaps fewer but longer port visits might be better. One day in Rome, Naples, Venice or Dubrovnik is not enough. My one caveat concerning entertainment was that it was too loud to carry on a conversation. Less amplification was called for.

All in all, however, we had a marvelous time and look forward to doing it again.
