My sister has been trying to talk me into a cruise for 20+ years and now I'm slapping my forehead saying, "why'd I wait so long?"

The boarding process was quick and simple. Because I have a lot of metal in one ankle from an old injury, I set off metal detectors and had to be patted down, but that doesn't deter me or put me off. In fact, it makes me feel safer knowing that the equipment is working and the staff is wary.

We enjoyed lunch at the buffet and true to promise, our rooms were available by 2pm and luggage was delivered shortly after. I noted that many folks were already in the pools and/or on deck in swimsuits, so if you want to swim early, be sure to tuck your suit into a bag you keep with you.

Cabin Review

Cabin IS

Our cabin was 0120 on Deck 10. It was small, as expected, but cleverly laid out. We had more than adequate closet space and each of us had a nightstand with shelves. I really liked the bathroom layout as there were shelves for all the make-up, etc. that gals bring along. The shower was small, but adequate and kinda fun, being circular. We were right beside the pool maintenance station, but it must be well-insulated because we had no trouble with noise. I liked being on this deck as we could easily walk to the pool, etc., without having to take the elevator.
