We chose this cruise on the ship,Norwegian Pearl, because of the itinerary/ports. Felt the cruise price was fair, although all the shore excursions did add up because there was so many ports. Loved the casual atmosphere and all of the complementary restaurants that were included. We had the most wonderful time. Our favorite restaurant were the Summer Palace and Indigo. Excellent choices of food and delicious. The 12th floor buffet was our least favorite but it was quick. The nightly entertainment was super and the host, (also aka Pedro-the voice from the ceiling) was great. We thoroughly enjoyed every show but our favorite were the two shows of the Mo-town group. The showcase of the talented crew was great to see their other abilities. Promote them! We did the Rome tour upon leaving the ship and stayed in Rome an additional four days. All the staff was very attentive and helpful when we needed guidance in getting to a destination on the ship. The "fish" carpet in the stateroom hallways was extremely helpful to determine the front and rear of the ship. But where are these "fish" on the rest of the ship? It would be helpful if there were some painted on the walls in a few strategic locations. We really would have appreciated that. You must have some talented crew who can paint or just some decals. Not sure when our next cruise will be but we will definitely be checking out Norwegian Cruise Lines. Thank you to all for a memorable vacation.
Compact stateroom 9644 but sure glad that we had a balcony. The ladies in 9642 spoiled our balcony outings as they were smoking on the balcony which is suppose to be not allowed.
We decided to the Rome tour after we left the ship because the luggage would be handled and we needed to get to Rome because we were staying four days after the ship cruise ended. Worked out well!View All undefined undefined Reviews
Very rainy day in Kotor but we continued. Took boat over to small island to tour church. Guide was good. Also took bus up to a very scenic views of Kotor-breathtaking.View All undefined undefined Reviews
Why don't you have the names of the tours listed that were offered-not in the list???
This tour was great but too short.View All undefined undefined Reviews
The Kumquat factory was very interesting. Very scenic on our trip up to the top. The streets were extremely narrow for the bus to fit through.View All undefined undefined Reviews
We loved Santorini. It was on my bucket list. There was a fair amount of walking up hill. Very crowded- difficult to get through the crowds. The while buildings with the blue domes was breathtaking.View All undefined undefined Reviews
Acropolis was on my bucket list-and I did it-climbed all the way up. Good thing that the weather was nice & not raining. All those marble steps to get there would be treacherous if wet. The hop on-hop off bus was perfect. We had plenty of time to do what we wanted on our own.View All undefined undefined Reviews
We had a nice guide. The luncheon was an experience. Ozo liquor was very strong, only took a sip. Nice venue for lunch. The monastery story was interesting.View All undefined undefined Reviews
I have been to Taormina on a previous tour about 15 yrs ago. Glad they built that 7-story parking garage. Love, Love Taormina. Nice to be on our own with time to shop and go to the old Roman theater with the fantastic views. But now there is a $10 per person charge. That should have been made known to those taking this tour.View All undefined undefined Reviews
The hour ride from Naples to Capri was very rough. This high-speed air boat was overly crowded too! We had a fantastic young lady guide. She gave us time & was offered tips to tour Capri. She was very attentive to us. Loved this tour, although because of the rough water we could not take the boat to the Grotto, which we wanted to do because when I was here previously, we didn't get to go either. So we were disappointed not to get to the Grotto.View All undefined undefined Reviews
The 2-hour drive was boring & not interesting at all. We were not told that Florence was such a great distance from the Livorno port where our ship was docked. The two tours to leather factories/stores was too much- ONE would have been sufficient. Liked being on our own to eat/shop and it was a nice pleasant day to do that.View All undefined undefined Reviews
Been to Monte Carlo on previous trip. Nice to see how the other half lives. We enjoyed the tour and visiting the casino gift shop inside. Nice to walk around and we enjoyed the changing of the palace guards at noon. Again a very nice day.View All undefined undefined Reviews
