We did not want to be at sea for 14 days so we elected to fly to Hawaii and board the ship there. NCL was the ship plus several people did tell us they traveled on Norwegian, however, not the Hawaiian ship, and everything was great. The food was horrible and the service was substandard. While having breakfast in the Skyliner, I asked for a refill on coffee and the young lady just plopped a coffee pot on the table and walked off. The cup was empty and I thought she would at least fill it up. I will NEVER use Norwegian again.

Plus there was a terrible smell in our room and in the hall ways and by the chapel and card room. It smelled almost like sewer water. Several people commented about the smell.

Twice we were chased out of the card room for them to use for something else. We left and had to play cards in the chapel. The second time a notice was put by the card room that there was going to be an art class in the card room. That art class never materialized. They held up the room for hours for nothing. Not good.

Cabin Review

Balcony

The cabin was OK and our stateroom person was great.
