We have taken many cruises on a few different ships. We sail out of New York out of convenience. Many different NCL ships come and go in New York and sometimes the different ships can be very exiting. But the dawn was a bit of a let down. While the cruise itself was awesome ( 14 days & 8 islands ). First and most important was the terrible food in the buffet. Food was most of the time cold. Other ships have theme nights and every night the food is different. On the Dawn it's the same food for every meal, it never changes. After 14 days you get tired of eating the same stuff. Every single person we spoke with on board complained about the buffet. Second the show's on board were very unentertaining. We are big NCL cruisers and swear by them 100% but this is one ship I will never sail on again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Ok,enough of that. As for the rest of the trip. Staff on board ' exceptional ', Speciallty restaurants- outstanding. Favorite restaurant on board is Cagneys steakhouse, by far the best filet mignon I've ever had. Moderno - make sure you go here hungry, the meats are cooked to perfection. Tepennyake - very entertaining dining experience. Not much to say about the Mexican restaurant, had reservations here but cancelled because of non appealing menu. Loved all of the Islands, the people are fantastic. Excursions are very informative. Not much to do in Bonaire unless you are scuba diving or snorkeling.
