Cabin: Owner's Suite with Large Balcony

NCL offered a very appealing itinerary with two overnight stops which allowed us to explore the islands on our own. We thoroughly enjoyed our Deluxe Owner's Suite with hot tub, it was beautiful and spacious and our butler Roland was helpful and friendly. The ship was easy to navigate and had everything we needed. Embarkation and disembarkation was an easy process, we had personal attention and service and felt very spoiled! Dining was okay, the specialty dining was nice, the buffet was mediocre but we were always able to find what we wanted. We enjoyed the complimentary room service and our butler also arranged a nice afternoon snack for our final day of cruising so the rest of our party could join us in our suite. We booked a couple shore excursions which were fine and explored on our own via rental car in the overnight ports. All in all a very pleasurable cruise. We have been on probably a dozen cruises with many cruise lines and found NCL to be a nice, affordable choice. If you've been to Hawaii before, or never been, this is a nice way to see more than one island.

Cabin Review

Owner's Suite with Large Balcony

Very lovely cabin, roomy and well appointed. Large sitting area, table for 4 and bar area with espresso machine, fridge and dishes. Large balcony with lounges and table and chairs and very nice roomy hot tub. King size bed (pillows were a bit hard), nice dressing area with plenty of storage and roomy bathroom with separate shower and spa/tub. Half bath in the entry way. Very nice!

Port Reviews

Honolulu

We opted to stay in Honolulu after disembarking from our cruise to visit Pearl Harbor. Great place to spend the day. Be prepared for a lot of traffic and congestion driving around Honolulu though. We stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Gardens for a couple days - nice but extremely crowded which was a bit disappointing.

Maui

Rented a car and drove the road to Hana. Long, winding and scenic drive but not for the nervous driver. We enjoyed the drive and scenery. One hint - don't bother with downloading the SHAKA app for the drive, it basically was a waste of money as it typically advised not to stop but to wait for "better" things ahead. You'll know when to stop by the number of cars on the side of the road ...save your money.

Kauai

Beautiful island - definitely our favorite of the trip. We drove via rental car to the "grand canyon" and it was a gorgeous clear day. Found a couple really nice beaches and had a great couple of days.
