Overall this cruise was very good but there were a few issues. The biggest issue was debarkation in Kona. The ship used their lifeboats as tenders. They were disorganized and many passengers were unable to get off the ship due to the short time in this port. I will recommend that if anyone is going to both Kilo and Kona that they just stay on the island overnight as the two ports are less than 2 hours drive from each other. Dining was good at dinner but breakfast and seaday brunch service was slow and many of the entrees were not hot and sent back to the kitchen. Seaday brunch menu was also recently changed and no longer includes pancakes and waffles. Cabin was good except for the fact that the balcony glass was filthy and you could not look see through it. That said, our cabin steward (Ida) was awesome! They played Hawaiian music for the entire 14 days so be prepared. After a few days most of the passengers were begging for some good old elevator music. Out of the two shore excursions that we booked in advance one was canceled and the other was modified. The modification made it impossible for us to complete our tour, which was a huge disappointment since we probably never get back to Hawaii. Embarkation and debarkation were both fairly smooth.
