Overall this cruise was very good but there were a few issues.
The biggest issue was debarkation in Kona. The ship used their lifeboats as tenders. They were disorganized and many passengers were unable to get off the ship due to the short time in this port. I will recommend that if anyone is going to both Kilo and Kona that they just stay on the island overnight as the two ports are less than 2 hours drive from each other.
Dining was good at dinner but breakfast and seaday brunch service was slow and many of the entrees were not hot and sent back to the kitchen. Seaday brunch menu was also recently changed and no longer includes pancakes and waffles.
Cabin was good but did vibrate more than we expected. Cabin steward was awesome!
Port was good but their is no pier so we had to be tendered ashore using the ships lifeboats. The ship was not prepared and/or trained for this.
Not really much to this port other than buying medications and liquor.
