We chose to try something different than carnival and we felt Norwegian would be a good alternative. The main issue was we missed two ports out of the total four we were supposed to visit. One stop was due to inclement weather and the other was due to a medical emergency. There is no issue with either one of those obstacles however, Norwegian took no responsibility in properly compensating its passengers for the unfortunate inconveniences. They offered 20% off of the next sail and $100 in onboard credit it was a complete slap in the face and many guest felt that way. We had to pay taxes on drinks because we were in Port longer than planned and Norwegian offered no compensation for that. The food in every restaurant was cold and was not appetizing whatsoever. And that is not an exaggeration, the Wi-Fi was mediocre at best and charged with out any reason. There were no laundry facilities on board so we were forced to pay to have our laundry cleaned and for one small load the charge would have been literally $94. The shops were very small the selection was minimal and the prices were maximum. The shops closed earlier than advertised. There were no shops to buy alcohol at a discounted rate and I was very disappointed I could not purchase any Hennessy Pure White (it’s not sold in the U.S.) Norwegian took no responsibility as we reached out twice to seek a formidable resolution for our unsatisfactory experience. The staff members were not friendly, the bartenders were extremely rude as compared to our previous carnival cruises. None of this is an exaggeration this is from our literal experience. Do not take a chance with Norwegian and waste your money. No matter how good of a deal they may try and offer us we will never sell with Norwegian Cruise lines again. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!
Room was small, AC stopped working last night of cruise.
