We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and timing. The price was right as well. The activities staff were fun, personable, and lively. We enjoyed the main dining room as well as the Windjammer. The food was very good to excellent as was the food service staff.

We were aboard the Empress for Halloween -great decorations!

While the gym was small, remember this is the smallest ship in the RCCL fleet, there were more cardio machines than on some larger ships and they worked. I could always find one available.

Cabin Review

Junior Suite with Balcony

The cabin was clean, but showing its age. At night there was generally very loud noise from above, as if there was a track meet above us. Once at 3:00 a.m., it sounded like someone dropped a stack of deck chairs just above our cabin. We would not use this cabin again.
