We just returned from a 2nd cruise on the Armonia. We flew in the day before and spent the night at the Intercontinental downtown, great location and an easy ride to the (Albert) port.

We arrived at the port at 10:45 am check-in was a breeze no waiting and we were on board around 11:30. We headed up to the Lido deck and to our surprise the bartender{ at Girasole remembered us from May along with our names and drink of choice. The bar staff on deck were great and Marc never let our drinks run low. The food choices we though were good at the buffet all week. Loved the omelet station and plenty of bacon and no police. The pizza and burgers were good. However we enjoyed our lunches at La Pergola.

The cabins were ready at around 1:30 and we couldn't wait to see our home for the next 8 days. We had cabin 1034 deck 10 Aurea experience, The cabin was a good size great closet/storage space. The bathroom was a bit larger than the OV we had in May. The bathroom was spotless and the larger tub/shower combo was nice. The water pressure was good, we did have a shower curtain and it liked to get close and personal. The AC worked great the cabin was always cold. The balcony was nice to have but didn't use much. Cruze was a good attendant always quick and efficient.

We enjoyed the shows and all the live music available in the evening. Kevin was a very good cruise director and his staff were an absolute blast. We did go to a few trivia games and what we liked the teams who played passed the answer sheet with the team next to them when the answers were given (helps keep people honest). The pools were always busy on the sea days and amazingly as always at 7am more chairs had bodies that look much like a beach towel.

We ate all our dinners except one at La Pergola and the girls at the reception desk were a complete joy and took great care of us. We ate at table 600 every night and our server Soongue (I know I butchered his name) was amazing and always remembered our beverage of choice. We enjoyed our dinner at the Surf and Turf restaurant and it was an amazing meal. The pork belly was to die for, my fillet was cooked perfectly and the red velvet cake was the crowning jewel.

The ship was in great shape and will be shiny and new when it hits a 3 week drydock in 2 weeks. The crew was the friendliest we have ever come across in all of the 55 plus cruises we have been on. MSC has a great product and we can't wait to go on the Lirica out of Venice next year.

I have to say I am not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from because the must be on a different ship. One final thought the CC meet and greet was well attended approx. 25 members, 5 ship personnel attended including Kevin (the Cruise Director). Lucia the asst. cruise director and Anahita the food and beverage manager. MSC supplied the cake, photo(delivered to our stateroom) and drinks. MSC appreciates it's cruise critic members unlike Carnival.....
