Viking Sky Cruise Review by cb10
Trip Details
- Sail Date: October 2019
- Destination: Mediterranean
We chose the Viking Sky for two reasons, a small ship and the itinerary we wanted. The Viking Sky did not disappoint. The staff was awesome, they went out of their way to make sure you were treated with respect and did everything possible to make sure this would be an enjoyable cruise for you personally. They knew our names by the second day and greeted us when we left our stateroom and when we returned if they were anywhere around. The food was good and not rushed in the World Cafe. You didn't have to stand in line forever to get what you wanted. The specialty restaurants were great, so be sure to book early for the best times that fit your schedule. If you like wine opt for the beverage package so you can enjoy the wine anytime. The spa was relaxing after a day out sightseeing and the massages were great. A tour was included at every port and if you wanted something else you paid for it. But the tours which were included were good. The cruise only had a few kids which made it much more enjoyable and far less noise.

Rome (Civitavecchia)Interesting tour but many long line to view anything. Somewhat disappointing because of the long waits to see the sites. Our guide was constantly pointing out things while on the bus and it felt our heads were on a swivel. Some of the things we couldn't see because they were on the opposite side and up higher than the windows on the bus.View All 13,326 Rome (Civitavecchia) Cruise Port Reviews
